About Us

The Jetty Specialist in Queensland | TJS Marine Group

In 1986 Neil and Leith Morris set out to build a new future and shape the Sunshine Coast waterways for years to come. They began this journey with a sole task; build their first pontoon. Through perseverance, grit and an eye for detail, The Jetty Specialist’s first ever pontoon was built… on their home driveway.

The pontoon was a success, out-lasting most other existing structures in the Mooloolah River and canals, providing a perfect platform for a growing industry.

Over 30 years and thousands of clients later, we remain a proudly family-owned and operated business. Located on the beautiful Sunshine Coast, Queensland, The Jetty Specialist – still owned and directed by the Morris family – continues to be committed to innovation and excellence, providing Australia with high quality, built-to-last marine infrastructure.

Our innovation through design has seen us become a preferred supplier for local and state government departments, the proud builders of some Australia’s largest marinas and, at the core of our business, providing boaties and waterway users with safe and durable products.

In January 2019, The Jetty Specialist excitedly announced the opening of their latest endeavour – a new 24,000 square metre operating facility, and a vision to continue to pioneer the Australian marine landscape.
